Soooooo.... guess what?
I lost almost 8 pounds last week! As Amy said when I told her, "That's more than a pound a day!"
That's a total of 13 pounds in two weeks and I can tell! I feel better, have more energy, and my clothes fit differently! I'm actually pretty surprised at how easy it's been so far. And that's probably not going to last very much longer, so I'm probably going to be disappointed next week, but in terms of motivation, this makes everything so much easier. Easier to gym, easier to eat brussel sprouts, easier to take the stairs. Because everytime I take the stairs or offer to take the dog for a walk or ignore the cookies in the pantry, I think to myself, "That's another pound closer to strong, another pound closer to healthy, another pound closer to the body I want." And THAT works. :)
That is all I will say on that subject, but it is definitely on my mind this week!
