Happy Monday!

Okay, I've been MIA for a long time. Which is lame of me, but also smart. Because as much as I love blogging and sometimes hope to make it a real "job", I have a lot of other items on my plate that take priority. So, I needed to take a step back and figure out some things.

But I'm back now! And ready to roll! :)

First up, in The Great Kate Improvement Project, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I have lost a little over 30 lbs since January. Yay! AND I'm nearing my halfway point - a fact that is totally exciting and also a bit daunting. Because if all this work is leading to halfway, then I have some really tough stuff ahead of me!

The bad news is that I had a really horrible week last week. Two weeks ago, I was .5 lbs from a milestone, a really exciting fabulous number. Then, I found out that I gained over 3 lbs the next week. Which means I went in expecting to be wowed and came out destroyed. I'll be honest, I got pretty discouraged. I kept telling myself, "THIS is why I shouldn't have started this, THIS feeling." Which is so ridiculous and horrible and unmotivating, but that's where my head went. Luckily, I have good friends and, apparently, some willpower because I picked myself back up and righted my perspective. So, hopefully, at tomorrow's weigh in... I will be at least 2 lbs down. Yes, I'd LOVE to be past that milestone point, but I'm realistic enough to realize that you can't expect a 4 lb loss every week or you'll just give up.

In other news, I have TONS of cute new vintage listings in the shop! Take a look:
Don't forget to check out the Studio Tuesday giveaway and keep an eye out for more fun finds later this week!

New Vintage Listings!

I recently posted some great vintage finds in my shop!

More vintage items will be posted this week; I can't stop looking for great finds! I'm toying with the idea of opening a second shop just for my vintage finds - what do you think? Most of the advice I've gotten so far is that if you have distinctly different products, you should separate them. But, it sure does seem like a lot of work! What do you guys say?

This vintage casserole dish is a creamy white on the outside with an inside glaze of the lightest sage green. The high sides give it a unique look and the lid has hand painted yellow and green flowers clustered around an aged brass knob.
The lowest points in the center are 3.25" high and at the highest points, it measures 5". The length, from tip to tip is 10" and the width of the base is about 5".
There is a very small chip on the side, at most angles, you can't even see it. This can be easily repaired with filler if you choose to do so.
There is no marking on this pattern, but it is made by Taylor, Smith and Taylor.

New Supplies Section

I made a Supplies section in my shop today. I tend to buy multiples if I get a great deal on something, but who needs 3 of the same stamp? Also, as time goes on, I may use that section for destash items - but I don't have any I'm willing to give up yet!

Here are two of my listings in the new Supplies section!

*free shipping*
This is my favorite alphabet set EVER, so when I found a good deal, I got a few extra! :)

This one was actually an accident; I got home and realized I had purchased two!
