My weekend was filled with
-a 4th birthday party
-shopping with my mom
-babysitting silly, silly boys
-chinese food and a long chat with a friend
-waking up at 5:30am to get on the road by 6am
-fun
-snow
-fun in the snow!
-debating whether 'snowflakes' really exist
-getting really excited when the snow flurries got big enough to look like 'snowflakes'
-snowboarding for the first time!
{mike and sarah before we went up at all - see the snow flurries!}

{jon, and yes, me, on my bottom}
It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back. But, definitely get lessons if it is your first time! That was invaluable information. I was also a bit enthralled with the whole experience as I've only been to the snow once or twice and I've never been in the snow when it was snowing! I was like a little kid, standing with my face up, twirling around in the flurries. :)
On the way back, we hit a crazy ice storm and in a few minutes, we went through snow, rain, sleet and intense fog. Luckily, we made it home safe and sound, though totally exahusted. I fell asleep at 9:00, basically as soon as we walked in the door.
Today, I am totally sore (and in weird places, like my forearms), but ultimately really happy with the experience and with the fact that I did it, that I actually snowboarded! Is that a word?
How were all of your weekends? :)
Today is the last day to sign up for the Orange Twist giveaway, so make sure you enter if you haven't already!
