The Problem...Is In Your Mind.

The problem with committing to lose weight is that you have to check it consistently to ensure this is happening. The problem with checking your weight consistently is that you're giving the numbers such power over your life.
And isn't that kind of what you were trying to change in the first place?

Sigh, it's been a tough week, weight-wise. I lost a lot last week and am very close to halfway, but this week, I came back up again. I'm not completely sure why, either. But this is what I signed up for: hard work, determination, and persistence.

So, next week will be better!

  1. Losing weight is never easy - it took a long time to put it on in the first place. Stay positive - you're doing great!! :)

  2. If I wasn't such a great procrastinator, I could probably lose the 15 pounds I want to shed. I really wish I was the type to get up and go workout first thing in the morning...or after work...or even on the weekends. And I wish I didn't fall prey to the sugary junk food monster. I can't help it. I love it! I also love cheeseburgers and fries.

but I don't like what it's done to me. I don't like that I keep having to go up in pants sizes or that my summer clothes from only last summer no longer fit.

I need one of those celebrity boot camp people at my door every day, all day. That would get me going :p

good luck to you! at least you're trying! which is more than I can say for myself!
