Sneak Peek: Photographs From My Travels
I was taking pictures of my favorite things in my room last night, as part of an upcoming post (all for you guys!) when I decided that I accidentally take some pretty awesome photographs sometimes. Or maybe, I'm just lucky enough to have visited some of the most beautiful places on Earth, where no one could take a bad picture.

Inspiration: Wedding
- Ahh, the cupcake wedding cake. This is a really popular option right now; a lot of people like the whimsical look and the fun display, not to mention the relative ease of eating. No forks, no plates, just fun. 
- I think mantillas are the sexiest, most flattering, most romantic thing any bride could wear. This is exactly the kind I would want. I also really like the neckline of her dress and the relative unadornment of it. Lastly, her hair = perfect.Photo: Tec Petaja Photography
- I love the idea of serving pie instead of cake at a wedding. While I'm not one to turn down cake, I've always felt that pie is more homey, more country, more comforting. It also feels more...natural in a way. Closer to its ingredients? I'm not sure what it is, but you may see pie at my wedding one day. I also seriously heart the mismatched dishes. That's kind of what my dish collection looks like at home; I just buy what's interesting and pretty to me. Sometimes that's one lone plate, sometimes it's a set of three.
- I'm not a huge fan (haha) of fan programs, but these are beautiful. From the coke bottle shaped handle to the vintage inspired photo to the handwritten font used on the other side, these add up to a romantic, un-cheesy program.Photo: Tec Petaja Photography

Lovely Photos: cabin+cub
Valerie over at cabin+cub posted lovely pictures of her trip to the Pacific National Exhibition last weekend. The combination of a beautiful day, an (apparently) great camera and her eye for a shot all came together to form some great photos. These are my favorites.

Farm Fresh To You
When I participated in the Red Rabbit Craft Fair few months ago, I started chatting with a guy and a girl at a booth for Farm Fresh To You. I signed up for a twice monthly delivery of fruits and vegetables and today I got my first shipment!
They look beautiful and are all organic and locally-grown about 60 miles away. Farm Fresh To You will drop them off at your door or your gate, or wherever you tell them to. They have great customer service and you can exclude anything you don't like (for me - honeydew).
They offer fruit only, vegetables only, or a mix. They also have what they call fast fruit and vegetable boxes, which are selections that don't need to be cooked to be enjoyed. Deliveries can be monthly, twice monthly or weekly. There's no contract, no commitment - you can cancel anytime.

1 head of green leaf lettuce
1 pint of cherry tomatoes
1 cucumber
1.5 lbs of heirloom tomatoes

I've already eaten a bunch of grapes, a handful of cherry tomatoes and an apple, and I'm incredibly impressed with the freshness, flavor and selection. There's nothing quite like a ripe, hand-grown tomato - it's unfortunate that a lot of people don't even know what that tastes like these days.

Beautiful Fixture For Sale!
My parents recently remodeled their kitchen. Actually, I designed it and other people built it. They paid for it. They chose a beautiful light fixture over the island, a triple pendant light fixture that I found and purchased for them through an online lighting retailer.Unfortunately, they sent us this lovely SINGLE pendant fixture. We called to say there was a mistake and they were very nice about it and told us they'd send out the correct one right away. I asked if they were going to send us a UPS label for the single fixture and they said, Nope, you can keep it.
Beautiful as it is, how many of these lights can we fit in the kitchen? So, I'm offering it to you, my loyal readers :)
This retails for $200, we'll sell it to you for $100 including shipping. It's brand-new, still in the box it shipped in. It takes 1 60 watt candelabra base bulb and has a satin nickel finish. The hand-blown glass shade is 11" high and 5" wide.
