I totally don't get non-working mothers who have nannies. If you're not interested in spending time with a child, maybe you shouldn't have one. I totally understand hiring a babysitter so you can get away, have some alone time, or run errands - but why hire a nanny to chat with your kid, to teach them to read, to drive them to the Mandarin classes you signed them up for at 24 months?
