When I started this blog in 2009, I was starting an Etsy shop, living with a roommate, and in a relationship. Five years later (wow!), things have changed. My Etsy shop is on a hiatus, while I figure out if I'm going to continue with paper crafting. I currently live alone in an apartment, but I am soon moving into a house! I've been single for a while now, and while that could (and hopefully will!) change, I'm living for me and that will be reflected in my blog.
What I'm getting at is that I want to get back into blogging, because I loved it - the writing, the camaraderie, the sharing. But I'm going to be focusing more on renovating and decorating my California ranch house, as well as the products I find along the way. I'll definitely still have posts on my favorite Etsy finds and maybe even spotlights on handmade producers, because buying local and handmade is still important to me. I hope you'll stick with me on this new journey and I'm so excited for all these new changes!
I'll leave you with this gorgeous print called Modern Rocker Flowers by LiveLoveStudio on Etsy. I have been looking at this everyday for a week, trying to decide what size I should get. Part of me wants to get the biggest size print (24x36) and put it above the toilet in the guest bath. Kind of a huge statement in a small room, right? A little bit unexpected, but really fun. What do you think?
