Love... Keirning's Quilted Bags
I kept scraps of fabric for YEARS when I was a kid, thinking one day I would use them to make a bag or a quilt or a shirt. There was one problem - I couldn't sew. I can't sew. If I could, I would have hoped to make something as cheery as this. Keirning makes these fun bags from scraps she has left over and sells them on her etsy shop - for $20! Tegan and Sara may be my favorite group ever. They are great musicians, witty lyricists and they have that amazing ability to get inside your head and make you go, " EXACTLY. That's exactly how I feel/was feeling/did feel." This song is one of my favorites because I think it's so relatable. We've likely all been in relationships where we got so comfortable that we forgot to pay attention to our partner. Over time, you become people living your own lives in close proximity to each other and you have to really try to reinsert yourself into your relationship. I just want back in your head.

Focus on...Kattfive Creations!
Kattfive is one of my newest finds on etsy and quickly becoming one of my favorites! I'm a sucker for beautiful jewelry...and beautiful shoes and beautiful purses. OKAY, maybe I'm just a sucker.
The woman behind Kattfive is Julie Gastelum, a 41 year old mom of a 14 year old who has been married for 21 years. Whew, that's a lot of numbers! Here's a little interview with her:
How long have you been making jewelry?
I have always been facinated with the art of jewelry making but didn't start actually creating until a couple of years ago.
How did you get started?
I got started by just buying some supplies to make a simple pair of earrings and now I have my own shop on Etsy. It has been really exciting to see how that has progressed.
Who is your biggest fan?
My husband and daughter are my biggest supporters and fans.
What's your favorite part of crafting?
Creating jewelry has been and still is a great joy and relaxer for me. All the stresses of the day just go away.

Focus on...Sheabalina!
Sheabalina has a set of beautiful cards hand stamped with a tapestry design in black and embellished with rhinestones. Even better, they have Twilight quotes on them - this one is my favorite. So romantic... *swoon*Here's a bit more information about the lovely Sheabalina:
How did you name your shop?
My name is Shea, but most people call me Sheabalina, so that's where my shop got it's name.
Have you always been crafty?
Crafting has always been a big part of my life. From macaroni necklaces in kindergarten to dozens of paintings to cover the ugly walls of my college dorm room. I'm always creating something, and I'm inspired by everything around me; nature, buildings, the words people say, and they way they move.
Why Etsy?
I like to be able to share the things I create with the world around me, and etsy has given me the opportunity to do just that (and maybe earn a little extra money so that I can continue crafting).
What are you selling?
Right now, I'm selling note cards and greeting cards. My new line of greeting cards was inspired by one of my favorite cities in the world, New Orleans.
